If you are coming from the north: Motorway A12 Genova - Livorno.
Take the exit Sarzana, follow the SS1 Aurelia in the direction of Carrara-Pisa for about 5 km. Take the exit Carrara, and go left, towards the SS1 Aurelia. At the end of the road turn left at the traffic again. Follow the SS1 Aurelia in the direction of Sarzana, La Spezia for more than 5 km. When you arrive at Castelnuovo Magra (You are still on the SS1 Aurelia) Go straight ahead at the traffic light of Palvotrisia, and then straight ahead at the next traffic light.
